I'm an average guy (with a much bigger than average build!) into a lot of geeky stuff. I love D&D, roleplaying in general. Love tech, but hate Apple. I am not an Apple fan.I am also a big fan of Comics, Marvel mainly, but I do like the odd DC, Dark Horse, Image, Top Cow and independent comic book. Am also a huge fan of Books! David Gemmell and R A Salvatore being my 2 favourite authors of all. I also like to read Robin Hobby, Terry Brooks, Ed Greenwood, Maggie Furry, Raymond Feist, Terry Goodkind, Dan Abnett and many many more. Mainly Fantasy writers but I do like some crime writers, Sci-Fi and other genres.
I can't really think of much else to write but just ask away if you want to know anything else.

Iron Man 3 (Spoiler Free)
I went to watch the Midnight Premiere of IM3 last night (I’m in the UK) and I have to say, I can see a lot of fans being dissapointed with this.
That’s not to say its a bad film, its actually really good. But, I did have a strange sense of deflation once the film had finished.
RDJ was awesome, as always, special effects were superb…….but something did seem to be lacking, and without giving away spoilers, I can’t really tell you what it is.
I look forward to seeing what everyone else’s opinions are when this gets released in the US.

Happy St Georges day people
Today is St Georges Day, the Patron Saint of England. Bizarrely, we don’t have a National Holiday for this like the rest of the UK. Ireland has St Patrick’s, Scotland can swap a Bank Holiday to St Andrew’s day and the Welsh have St David’s.
But our government refuses to allow the English to have St Georges day, even though, compared to the rest of the EU we have the least amount of public and National holidays of most other countries.
It now seems to be picking up pace though, and more people are making a point of celebrating it, so hopefully, this may change.
But to all the English out there, Happy St Georges Day!

This feels a little profound to me at the moment. An old friend of mine who had recently got married and emigrated to the US, now 6 months later he’s commited suicide.
No one saw it coming, he was apparently happy, and then this came out of the blue :(
